1. THE MODEL RANGE
The range splits by installation rather than by a single spec sheet. The ZN85-40.5 is an indoor withdrawable VCB rated 40.5 kV for substations, power plants and mining. The ZW32-12 and ZW32-24 are outdoor pole-mounted VCBs for rural and suburban distribution and overhead line protection - their sealed outdoor enclosure resists rain, dust and condensation, and the integrated current transformers support protection and metering. The VSG-12 is built for compact switchgear integration where panel depth is limited, and the VF2-12 uses a modular design so the same breaker frame fits several cubicle layouts. Both are rated 12 kV for industrial plant distribution, commercial building substations and infrastructure projects.2. THE PARAMETERS THAT MATTER
The technical parameters are what a buyer matches to a project specification: rated voltage 12 / 24 / 40.5 kV, rated frequency 50/60 Hz, three-phase, to IEC 62271-100, with a mechanical life above 10,000 operations. Installation is indoor withdrawable, indoor fixed or outdoor pole-mounted, and every model carries CE marking and is made under an ISO 9001 certified quality system. Where vacuum interruption sits among the main circuit breaker types is set out at Main circuit breaker types.3. VCB vs LOAD BREAK SWITCH
A vacuum circuit breaker and a load break switch are not interchangeable. The VCB interrupts both load current and short-circuit current directly, and is reusable after a fault - just reclose. A load break switch handles load current and relies on a fuse for fault interruption, and the fuse must be replaced after a fault. The typical VCB rating is 12-40.5 kV, and the deciding question is whether a fault must be cleared and the network reclosed without replacing parts.
