The number of cores consumed per shift, the length accuracy required and the changeover frequency between core diameters. Capacity quoted in cuts per minute is only meaningful with the cut length and the tube diameter attached.
3. How accurate is the cut length?
Length accuracy and repeatability are the two figures that matter; they are quoted per model and per tube specification. Inaccurate length shows up downstream as roll oscillation on the mandrel, not as a cutting defect.
