The Q5-1200 is a dedicated paper core cutting machine for converters producing their own cores in-house. It cuts long spiral-wound paper tube into finished cores at set lengths, with PLC control and servo feed for repeatable accuracy across a production run.

BUYING THROUGH XIAOPAI
XIAOPAI (Wenzhou Xiaopai Power Technology) is organised in two modules. In the power transmission and distribution module, XIAOPAI designs and manufactures: transformers, vacuum circuit breakers and switchgear are built in its Wenzhou workshops. In the flexible packaging module, XIAOPAI is not the manufacturer: machines are built by established Chinese manufacturers, and the solventless laminating machines in that programme are designed and manufactured by SINSTAR (Chongqing), of which XIAOPAI is the authorised global distributor. We carry the export process, installation supervision, operator training and after-sales for this module.

Q1: What length accuracy can I expect?
A1: Servo feed gives repeatable accuracy across a run, which matters when cores are used on automated winding equipment. Send your tolerance requirement and we will confirm the configuration.
Q2: How fast is the changeover between lengths?
A2: Length change is a PLC preset plus a mechanical stop adjustment. Exact time depends on the configuration, but it is designed for plants changing lengths multiple times per shift.
Q3: Can it handle thick-wall cores?
A3: Wall thickness affects blade selection and cutting method. Send your core inside diameter, outside diameter and wall thickness and we will specify the machine accordingly.
