Blown Film Extrusion Machine | XIAOPAI

A blown film extrusion machine melts plastic resin, extrudes it through an annular die and inflates the molten tube into a bubble. The bubble is cooled, collapsed and wound into flat film roll stock. It is the starting point of most flexible packaging production, because the film it makes feeds printing, laminating and bag making.

Q1: What film thickness range can I run?

A1: It depends on the die, screw and cooling configuration. Tell us your target thickness range and resin, and we will size the extruder and die head to it rather than quoting a generic machine.

Q2: Do I need IBC internal bubble cooling?

A2: For most modern lines, yes. IBC stabilises the bubble and lifts output significantly compared with external air cooling alone. It is standard on multi-layer co-extrusion lines.

Q3: Can I run biodegradable resin on the same machine?

A3: Often yes, but check screw design and temperature profile first. Some biodegradable blends need different shear and thermal conditions. Confirm the resin with us before ordering.
