XIAOPAI · Wenzhou Xiaopai Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. · Zhejiang, China
XIAOPAI - Wenzhou Xiaopai Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. - supplies BOPP, PE, PP, PET and PVC packaging films from Wenzhou, Zhejiang, working with long-established Chinese manufacturers. A flexible package is almost never one film: it is two to four films welded into a single structure, and the grade chosen for each layer decides how the finished pack prints, seals and protects. What follows is what each film is for, and what to pin down before an order.1. THE THREE JOBS IN ONE LAMINATE
Every flexible structure assigns three jobs to film. The outer layer faces the shelf - it carries the print, resists scuffing, and gives the pack its stiffness. The middle layer is the barrier, holding back oxygen, moisture, light or aroma. The inner layer is the sealant: it faces the product and is the film that welds shut under the sealing jaw. One film rarely does all three jobs well, which is why films are combined rather than used alone. How the industry assembles film, foil and paper into flexible packaging is set out at About the Flexible Packaging Association.2. THE FIVE FILMS AND WHERE EACH ONE GOES
PET (BOPET) is the workhorse outer layer - strong, dimensionally stable, and it takes reverse printing without stretching, so registration holds at speed. It is also the base film for metallized VMPET barrier grades. BOPP is the snack-film standard. Biaxial stretching gives it stiffness, gloss and a moisture barrier that snack packaging is built on; it comes heat-sealable or plain, clear or metallized. PP in its cast form - CPP - is the sealing partner for BOPP and PET. It seals at lower temperatures than BOPET, holds up under retort conditions in its higher grades, and stays soft where BOPP is stiff. PE is the universal sealant. The LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE grades trade seal strength against toughness against stiffness, and PE sits as the product-contact layer in most food structures. PVC is the specialist: it shrinks, which is why it carries sleeve labels and tamper-evident wraps. It is not a food-contact staple.3. HOW THE LAYERS COMBINE
Working structures are short. PET/PE covers general laminates; BOPP/CPP is the snack-pack standard; BOPP/PE and PET/CPP balance sealing against stiffness. Where a product needs more shelf life, a barrier layer enters the stack - metallized VMPET, aluminum foil or an EVOH core - and the structure grows to three or four layers. The layers are welded on laminating machines, and the solventless route is the one XIAOPAI supplies through SINSTAR: the range is on the solventless laminating machine page. Why the market keeps moving to these lighter structures is summarized at Advantages of Flexible Packaging.4. WHAT TO PIN DOWN BEFORE ORDERING
Four items settle most film purchases. Ask for the film structure in writing - each layer, its material, and which side is treated for printing or sealing. Ask for food-contact documentation: films that touch food need a declaration of compliance, with test data referenced to the framework of the destination market (FDA, EU 10/2011, GB 4806). Ask for barrier figures where shelf life matters - OTR and WVTR numbers for the finished structure, not a "high barrier" label. And the packing: rolls ship in seaworthy crating with a moisture barrier, FOB Ningbo or Shanghai.5. THE SUPPLY ROLE
XIAOPAI supplies the five films working with long-established Chinese manufacturers, and it is the single contracting and responsible party for supply-chain vetting, export documentation, quality-control monitoring and after-sales coordination. The solventless laminating machines are the exception to that route: those are built by SINSTAR in Chongqing, China, and supplied by XIAOPAI as SINSTAR's authorized global distributor. The film range and its export notes are on the finished packaging film page.ONE LINEXIAOPAI - Wenzhou Xiaopai Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. manufactures the power transmission equipment line in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, and works with long-established Chinese manufacturers for the flexible-packaging line, supplying the BOPP, PE, PP, PET and PVC films above.
