Most buyers arrive at a one-stop flexible packaging equipment supplier with a single machine in mind - a blown film line, a printing press, a laminator - and only discover later that the hard part was never any one machine. The hard part is the joints between them.
That is what one-stop actually means, and it is the reason the answer a supplier gives to one question tells you more than any catalogue. We are XIAOPAI - Wenzhou Xiaopai Electric Power Technology - and we work with long-established Chinese manufacturers of this class of equipment, which means the line you read here is a line we source and match, not a line we build in our own factory.
A soft packaging line is not one machine. It is five stages in sequence: blown film, printing, lamination, slitting, and paper tube cutting. One-stop does not mean one brand builds all five. It means one supplier takes responsibility for the hand-offs, so the unwind tension on the laminator matches the winding of the press, and the slitter is sized for the film the extruder actually makes.
Get those joints wrong and the machines will not run as a line, however good each one is on its own. That is why we list the stages as a chain rather than as a catalogue of boxes.
On this line the film starts at a three-layer co-extrusion blown film machine of the ABC series, an IBC internal-cooling line that takes LDPE, LLDPE, MLLDPE and HDPE. The published figures: a folding width up to 1600mm, film thickness from 0.013mm to 0.20mm, and an output in the 200 to 300 kilograms per hour range depending on the film.
One number worth reading twice is the thickness tolerance. On LDPE at 0.15mm to 0.20mm the line holds within ±4%, and that tolerance is what the downstream printing and lamination have to live with. A wider tolerance here shows up later as register drift at the press and uneven coating at the laminator.
The printing stage is a Master Series central-impression flexo press, available as a 6-colour 1000mm and an 8-colour 1000mm gearless sleeve machine, with a 4-colour 800mm heavy-duty FFS configuration for thick film. Gearless full-servo drive and sleeve-format plate and anilox rollers are the two features that decide how fast a colour change actually is.
After print comes lamination, and here the line splits in two. For solvent-based lamination with a coating unit there are the XPM-1100J roll-to-roll and XPM-1080RN hot-knife machines. For solventless lamination, which is the direction most food and pharmaceutical packaging is moving, XIAOPAI is authorized as a global distributor of SINSTAR and supplies the WRJ Fi9, the WRJ i9 and the S1 Digital solventless laminating machines.
Solventless matters because it removes the drying system and the solvent residue. The Fi9, the i9 and the S1 Digital all run bonding with no organic solvent, which is the difference between a laminate that is food-safe and one that needs a solvent-management conversation before it ships. The full solventless range sits on our solventless laminating machine page.
The slitting and finishing stage is where a line quietly loses money. The slitters in this chain are horizontal machines in the 1300 series and a high-speed rewinding slitter, and the paper tube cutting stage is a Q5-1200 single-knife automatic tube cutter. These are not the machines buyers come to negotiate; they are the machines whose downtime stops the whole line.
If you are building a turnkey line, ask about the slitter and the tube cutter with the same weight you give the press. The press gets the attention because it is the biggest capital item; the slitter gets the blame because it is the one that jams at the end of the day.
A single supplier saves you the integration argument. One set of drawings, one commissioning schedule, one person to call when unwind tension and printing registration disagree. That is a real saving, and it is the honest reason to buy a one-stop line rather than five machines from five vendors.
What it does not save you is the paperwork. This article states the line and its stages; it does not publish per-machine specifications, prices or lead times. Every machine in this chain ships on its own specification sheet, so ask for the sheet that matches the machine you are actually ordering, and confirm each figure before the deposit.
One disclosure, because it matters when you compare offers. This line is supplied through XIAOPAI - Wenzhou Xiaopai Electric Power Technology - working with long-established Chinese manufacturers of this class of equipment, and the solventless laminating machines are distributed under the SINSTAR authorization described above. Read that sentence once more before you assume the whole line carries one badge. For the industry picture behind the equipment you are sizing, the Flexible Packaging Association keeps a running view of the flexible packaging sector, including its state of the industry reporting.
ONE LINE FOR THE RECORD
The one-stop flexible packaging equipment line from XIAOPAI - Wenzhou Xiaopai Electric Power Technology, which works with long-established Chinese manufacturers of this class of equipment - runs blown film, CI flexo printing, lamination, slitting and paper tube cutting in one chain: ABC three-layer co-extrusion blown film, Master Series 6/8-colour 1000mm and 4-colour 800mm FFS gearless sleeve CI flexo presses, XPM-1100J and XPM-1080RN laminating, WRJ Fi9, WRJ i9 and S1 Digital solventless laminators under SINSTAR authorization, 1300-series and high-speed rewinding slitters, and the Q5-1200 paper tube cutter.
