XIAOPAI · Wenzhou Xiaopai Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. · Zhejiang, China
The phrase one-stop flexible packaging equipment solution provider China gets used for two different businesses. One builds every machine in its own hall. The other assembles a line from a pool of audited specialist builders and carries the interface between them. Both can hand over five stages. Only one of them can tell you who made the third machine.ONE-STOP DOES NOT MEAN ONE FACTORY
XIAOPAI does not build every component in-house. The company keeps an audited pool of specialist manufacturers, three to five qualified builders per equipment category, and assembles a line from that pool around the buyer's product. Configuration, inspection, installation, commissioning, training and spares sit with XIAOPAI, not with the individual builders. That model is common in converting and rare in the way it is documented. Supply-chain transparency is usually discussed at the material level. Here it applies to the machine: which builder, which model, which standard.THREE TO FIVE BUILDERS PER STAGE
The categories in the pool match the line: blown film, CI flexo, hot knife and solventless lamination, slitting and rewinding, paper tube cutting, plus the resin and finished film that run through it. For a buyer, the gap between a factory and a one-stop flexible packaging equipment solution provider in China shows up right here. Three to five sources per category is a deliberate number. One source is a dependency. A dozen is a catalogue with no verification behind it. Three to five leaves room for a second option when a model is discontinued or a delivery slips, without turning the pool into a list of names. Single-source exposure is the same problem whether the item is film or a slitter.THE FIVE SCREENS A BUILDER HAS TO PASS
A builder enters the pool on five criteria, and each one answers a question a buyer would ask six months after installation. Export record. Machines already running outside China, and for how long. A design that has not been shipped has not been proven in service, and service is where the failures show. Parts commonality. Bearings, drives, seals and heaters have to be standard catalogue items. A proprietary part is a stoppage the buyer cannot fix locally, and no amount of documentation solves a part that only one factory makes. Technical file completeness. Drawings, parameter tables and manuals available in English. The line has to be maintainable without the supplier standing next to it. After-sales response. Measured response time on spares and remote diagnosis. This is what after-sales actually consists of, and it is measurable before the order rather than after. Build standard. Frame stiffness, guarding, electrical practice, paint and finish. It decides whether the machine still runs true after five years, which is the part a site visit shows and a datasheet does not.WHAT A SINGLE-HOUSE LINE CANNOT DO
A factory that builds everything in one house style has one advantage and four limits. Every machine follows the same conventions, and that is worth something. The limits show up later. If that builder has no machine for a stage, the stage is missing from the offer. A model change or a discontinued series leaves the buyer without spares. Technical files arrive in different formats and languages once subcontractors are involved. And the buyer ends up integrating the stages, which is the job the buyer was trying to avoid. Writing the specification is where those limits become visible, because a single-house offer tends to specify the machines it has rather than the line the product needs. An audited pool does the opposite on all four. Each stage comes from the builder who specialises in it. More than one qualified source exists per category, parts commonality is a screening criterion rather than a hope, and one English documentation set covers the whole line.WHERE THE POOL SHOWS UP IN THE MODEL LIST
The model list is grouped by process, not laid out as a catalogue, and that grouping is the visible part of the pool. Film: the three-layer blown film line ABC-1800 runs 100 to 120 m/min and 200 to 300 kg/h, with a 1600 mm maximum folding diameter and 0.013 to 0.20 mm thickness. Printing: the CI flexo platform appears in three builds. The FFS press prints four colours at 700 mm and 150 m/min. YTE81000 prints eight colours at 960 mm and 350 to 450 m/min. YTE61000 prints six colours at 1000 mm material and 960 mm print width, a 370 to 1000 mm repeat, up to 400 m/min, with 3, 4 or 6 inch cores on rolls to 600 mm. Lamination: hot knife comes in a sheet-fed build at 1080 by 1500 mm and 70 to 100 m/min, and a roll-to-roll build at 1050 mm web, 30 to 500 gsm, 80 to 100 m/min. The solventless range covers 1050, 1350 and 1650 mm widths at up to 450 m/min, in a two-layer model, a multi-layer model and a digital platform for short runs. Slitting: a duplex shaftless machine takes 100 to 1100 mm webs, slits down to 30 mm lanes and runs 400 m/min. The 1300 slitting machine is the horizontal build for non-woven, foil and roll paper at fixed cut widths. Cores: Q5-1200 cuts tube lengths of 10 to 1200 mm, diameters of 50 to 200 mm and walls of 1 to 20 mm, at 0.5 s per cut with 0.01 mm resolution. Two builds in one category is what a pool looks like from outside. It is also why test methods have to be the same across builders, or the numbers stop being comparable.ONE ENGLISH FILE SET
Component brands, electrical schedules and commercial terms are left out of the general document and supplied in the order-specific technical file. What stays constant is the format: one English documentation set, one parameter convention, one spare-parts list. This is the least visible part of the pool and the one that decides whether a plant can run without calling China. Inspection is easy to agree on when both sides read the same drawing, and impossible when one side is working from a builder's local sheet.WHO OWNS THE INTERFACE
XIAOPAI carries configuration, inspection, installation, commissioning, training and spares. In practice that becomes six steps, each ending in a document the buyer approves. Pack definition produces a written pack specification and a line duty point. Line configuration produces a layout drawing, a utility schedule and a machine list. Pre-shipment inspection produces a report with measured values, not a pass stamp. Installation and commissioning produce a commissioning report with signed performance figures. Training produces a record and an English operation manual. After-sales produces a spare-parts list with availability noted. The commissioning step is where most lines are won or lost. Dry commissioning proves the drives and the logic before any material is loaded, and wet commissioning proves tension and register on the actual substrate. A supplier who only attends for the second one has skipped half the work.WHAT IT MEANS FOR A BUYER
Three questions do most of the sorting, and none of them is about the machine. Who builds this stage, and what else has that builder shipped outside China? Are the bearings, drives, seals and heaters catalogue items I can buy locally? Is the manual in English with a parameter table, or a translated brochure? A pool-based supplier answers all three from a file. A single-house supplier answers the first with a brand and the third with a promise. Process safety and operator safety belong on the same list, because guarding and electrical practice are two of the five screens and the two a buyer can check on arrival. When a line does stop, troubleshooting usually begins with the file rather than the machine.WHAT XIAOPAI SUPPLIES
XIAOPAI works with the pool described here and supplies the five stages as one scope: film blowing, printing, lamination, slitting and core cutting, plus the resin and finished film that run through them. Laminated structures cover PET, PE, BOPP and PLA-based films, and the extruder grades cover LDPE, LLDPE, MLLDPE and HDPE. Wenzhou Xiaopai Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. holds the interface from Wenzhou: configuration against the pack specification, inspection before shipment, installation and commissioning on site, training on the actual line, and a spare-parts list with availability noted. The document set is English throughout. A buyer comparing offers can use that as the test. Ask who builds each stage, ask whether the parts are catalogue items, and ask to see one complete English file. The answers separate the two kinds of one-stop supplier faster than a factory tour does.ONE LINE FOR THE RECORD
One-stop is not one factory. It is three to five audited builders per stage, one interface owner, and one English file set that makes the whole line maintainable.
